Maria Bingo is a site whose design seems to be inspired by, if not themed on, the kinds of imagery and colour-schemes used to market coffee. On the whole, this works well and makes the site seem far classier than many other online bingo sites online. However, the background art on the homepage displays too low on many screens and the effect is that it looks a bit like there’s a smudge on your screen until you scroll down.
Although this works, and looks good, it doesn’t however inspire me to play. There is something about bingo sites like Costa Bingo and Comfy Bingo that just inspire me to get out my credit card and take a punt. No such emotions and impulses are created by this site, and it leaves me with a slightly deflated feeling.
Bonus
The first deposit bonus offered by Maria.com is 200% on amounts above £10 and up to £20. This means if you deposit £10 you get £20 in bonus funds and if you deposit £20 you get £40. This is the highest bonus amount possible.
The site does not advertise any sort of reload bonus although we have heard from members who have previously been offered free reload bonuses to continue playing.
Although this is a smaller than average deposit bonus (In terms of the maximum you can claim), we do think Maria Bingo is worth a shot. If you want to make a large deposit though, we think you will find a better deal at websites like Polo Bingo and Caesars Bingo. Both of these sites are fantastic for large depositors, providing bonuses up to £1000.
Rules and Conditions
There is a high wagering requirement on this site and you will have to wager the bonus amount 30 times before you can withdraw it. Withdrawing your money before this point means you lose your bonus funds. The rules for this are slightly different than other sites, however, and wagering on bingo contributes 200% of the amount wagered towards that total whilst other games contribute 100%.
Game Selection
On Maria.com there are 8 bingo rooms open at any one time offering both 90 ball and 75 ball bingo with card prices from 5p to 90p and prize pots from £10 to £200. One interesting feature of these games is that they feature chat moderators who speak numerous languages and the site can easily be loaded in one of 9 optional languages. The site doesn’t advertise any free bingo games but does offer plenty of slots, scratchcards, a poker variant and livecasino games.

Verdict
Maria Bingo is owned and run by Unibet, a very well known and established European gambling company. For this reason, it is hard for us not to recommend the site. We are positive you will get a fair shot at winning some money. That said, we struggle to endorse when you compare it to other popular sites in the industry. The main reason for this is because of the deposit bonus, which is actually quite weak and doesn’t provide all that much value. We suggest you take the time to look elsewhere, there are much better sites out there.
